Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and any
services you engage through us.
By using our site or requesting
our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please
do not use the site or submit your information.
1. Services
Provided
Breamingyst offers upholstery, furniture repair,
restoration, and consultation services to residential customers in
Ottawa and surrounding areas. All services are subject to
availability and agreement on scope, materials, and cost.
We
reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe
conditions or furniture deemed beyond repair.
2. Estimates
& Quotes
We offer free in-home consultations and estimates.
Quotes provided are based on the information available at the time
and may be adjusted if the scope of work changes after inspection or
disassembly.
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise
specified.
3. Payments
Payment is due as outlined in your
quote or invoice. We accept:
Credit cards
E-transfers
Cash
(upon agreement)
For most projects, a deposit may be required
before work begins. Final payment is due upon delivery or completion
unless other terms have been arranged in writing.
Late payments
may incur a service charge.
4. Cancellations &
Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a consultation or
pickup with at least 24 hours' notice.
Custom orders
(e.g., fabric pre-orders or custom-cut foam) may not be refundable
once materials have been purchased. In such cases, any
non-refundable expenses will be deducted from any deposit refund.
5.
Turnaround Times
We aim to complete projects within 7–14
business days, unless otherwise agreed upon. Delays may occur due to
material availability, complexity of work, or factors beyond our
control.
We will keep you informed of any changes to the
estimated timeline.
6. Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty
on workmanship and materials for all upholstery and repair services.
This does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or
abuse of furniture
Damage caused by pets, moisture, or
accidents after delivery
Customer-supplied materials
If
you experience an issue within the warranty period, please contact
us and we will assess and resolve it where applicable.
7.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law,
Breamingyst shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or
consequential damages
Loss of use, data, or profits
Damage
resulting from misuse of your furniture after service
Our
liability in any case will not exceed the amount paid for the
specific service provided.
8. Use of Website
You agree not
to use our website:
For unlawful purposes
To upload or
transmit harmful or malicious content
To interfere with the
operation or security of the site
We do not guarantee that
the website will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we may update
or remove content at any time without notice.
9. Intellectual
Property
All content on this website — including text,
graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Breamingyst
or its licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without written
permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of this site and our
services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how
